What happens after I’ve given my evidence?
Once you’ve told the court what you know the judge or sheriff will tell you if you are finished and if you can go home. The court might not be able to make a decision for several days or maybe even weeks. There might be lots of other witnesses who still need to give their evidence. The person who called you to be a witness should tell you what the court decides.
