While you're in the waiting area
It is a good idea to bring something to help you pass the time such as a book or magazine.
Some courts have a café or canteen and most have a vending machine for snacks or soft drinks. However, you should check this in advance as you may wish to bring a snack with you.
When the court case starts and when you are waiting to give evidence, you must not discuss your evidence with any other witnesses involved in the case.
