7. Will everyone in the courtroom be wearing wigs?
Just like you might wear a uniform to school, people in criminal court cases wear wigs and gowns. When children give their evidence, usually the judge or sheriff will remove their wigs. Talk to the person who asked you to be a witness or someone at the Witness Service about this.
If you are going to a children's hearing court proceedings, nobody will be wearing a wig or gown.
