You may have already identified someone involved in the case before coming to court, for example at an identification parade. If so, you may not need to do it again when giving your evidence at court. However in some cases, you may need to identify at court the person you are being asked questions about.
When you give your evidence you may be asked to look around the courtroom and point to the person if you see them. If you are worried about this, speak to the person who cited you as a witness. They will be able to advise you if there is anything else they can do.
