You can also have a 'support person' as well as the screen or television link. Some young people find it helpful to have an adult support person to sit with them the whole time at court, in the courtroom or in the television link room.
The court will ask if you want this and you should think about who might be the best person to sit with you. Your support person could be someone from the Witness Service, someone from another support organisation, a teacher, a social worker or a relative.
If you don't want a screen or a television link, you can still ask about having a support person in court with you.
