When the lawyers have finished asking you questions, the judge or sheriff will let you know that you are finished and you can leave.
You are then finished being a witness and should not have to come back.
If you have finished giving your evidence you may want to go into the public gallery of the courtroom to listen to the rest of the court case.
You should always check with the court staff whether you are allowed into the public area after you have given your evidence. If there is a possibility that you may be recalled as a witness, then you will not be allowed to sit in the public area.
