The lawyer for the party bringing the case forward and lawyers for any of the other parties to the case (or in some cases, the parties themselves) will all get a chance to ask questions to help you tell the court what you know, and to clarify your answers. This is known as examination and cross-examination.
You should listen carefully and try your best to answer as accurately as you can.
As a witness, you must answer the questions truthfully and tell the court what you know.
