Support and Assistance
There are lots of people or organisations who can provide you with information about the court process and support arrangements to help you be better prepared for giving your evidence.
Talking to your family or a friend can sometimes help. There are other people who can also help you.
It can often help to talk to someone who knows what is expected of you as a witness and who understands what the court process is like.
Remember that no-one should try to influence you about the information you give to the court.
It is generally better not to discuss your evidence with another person involved in the case, as the court has to hear what you know or remember, rather than what someone else has told you to say.
